About Us
River Valley School is an independent institution providing an exceptional and unique early childhood and elementary education experience for children from Pre-JK (Age 3) to Grade 6. Located on a beautiful riverside campus in the heart of northwest Calgary, we serve a diverse community of approximately 300 students.
We foster an environment where academic excellence, exploration, creativity, and student well-being are paramount. We celebrate and nurture the innate wonder in every child through our inquiry-based programming, driven by big ideas and questions, in a warm, innovative setting.
In addition to enriched core subjects, River Valley School offers a wide range of specialist programs, including Art, Drama, Music, French Language, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, and Library services, starting from age 3.
