About Us
Founded in 1872, Stanstead College is an independent Canadian boarding and day school for boys and girls in Grades 7 through 12. Living and studying in the heart of an extensive 600-acre property surrounded by the beautiful hills of Quebec's Eastern Townships and Northern Vermont, students enjoy a strong sense of community as they develop into young men and women and prepare for university
The school has a population of approxmately 280 students and a highly involved faculty and staff. In addition to the Quebec Diploma in Grade 11, Stanstead College offers a Grade 12 option based on Advanced Placement and Ontario pre-university programs. The school also provides ESL instruction and a summer language camp offering ESL and FSL instruction.
Stanstead College has a full University Guidance team to help students make appropriate post-secondary choices. Stanstead College is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, allowing our graduates to qualify for admission to U.S. colleges and universities, with recent acceptances including Harvard, McGill, University of Toronto to name a few.
