About Us

As the pioneer of French immersion in Canada, TFS (formerly Toronto French School) provides an education that is unparalleled in its academic excellence, one that prepares students from age 2 to Grade 12 for success in our interconnected world. Bilingual and coed since 1962, TFS blends three esteemed curricula – France, Ontario and the full continuum of bilingual International Baccalaureate programs – offering an experience that is rich in challenge, diversity and opportunity.

TFS students master French and English, while balancing rigorous arts, science and humanities programs. Through our successful Introductory French program, no prior knowledge of French is required, up to and including Grade 7. In our caring and supportive learning environment, we enable and encourage students of diverse backgrounds to discover and develop their intellectual, physical and creative potential. Co-curriculars include competitive and recreational sports, the arts, Model UN and robotics. Students benefit from exceptional facilities, a 26-acre ravine, and a diverse, non-denominational environment. We have two campuses: Toronto (age 2 to Grade 12) and our West Campus in Mississauga (PK to Grade 7).

Call our Admissions Office to find out about our full Grade 7 entrance scholarship.
