Founded in 1934, VTT is proud to be one of the largest Jewish day school in Western Canada, serving a population of more than 500 students from preschool to Grade 7. As a traditional Jewish day school, we are dedicated to producing well-rounded, well-prepared and spiritually grounded students with a commitment to Jewish traditions and values. At VTT, we offer a thoughtful balance of general and Judaic studies designed to excite, inspire and challenge each child.
We are proud of our provincially recognized academic ranking, but this is only part of the equation which makes VTT stand tall. As a Jewish day school, we offer a safe and nurturing foundation that encourages a lifelong love of learning, both in general and Judaic studies. We promote the joyous celebration of Jewish identity, heritage and practices and we teach Tikkun Olam (repair of the world) and derech eretz (kindness).
